Mèze is situated beside the Étang de Thau, an inland sea which is partial separated by a natural barrage from the Mediterranean Sea with breeding of mussels and the best known oysters of Bouzigues. Mèze has approx. 10,000 inhabitants and is an attractive and active small town. We are here in the department Hérault in the region of Languedoc-Roussillon. This region forms the intersection between the Mediterranean Sea and the Massif Central. The wine-growing is prevailing. The Mediterranean cuisine with fish, seafood, olive oil, spices and fresh vegetables is excellent. It's an ideal area where you can spend a restful, interesting or also an active holiday in our holiday apartment.
